Flexible connectors or vibration eliminators, as they are also known, isolate noise and vibration. These flexible connectors from All Valve Industries can also be used as alignment between pipes.
Their design incorporates a straight, single sphere moulded from multiple layers of synthetic rubber and nylon cord reinforcing fabric. The connector has raised faces and comes with floating steel flanges. Operating pressure is 1600kPa and burst pressure is 3000kPa. They have a vacuum rating of 400 mm Hg and can be used in temperatures ranging from 15 through to 115 degrees celsius.
