With water views stretching far and wide, it would be utterly unthinkable not to make them the star of every space in this luxurious property located in Bay Street, in the Sydney suburb of Mosman.

From the outset, the owners wanted only the highest quality materials and finishes. On the advice of window-and-door fabricator, Wellfix, products from Alspec were chosen for their exceptional quality and architectural impact.

Bay Street, Mosman

Enormous, top-hung sliding doors connect the kitchen/dining areas with a stunning outdoor entertainment area, while a clever wall cavity allows them to retract completely when fully open. The doors are equipped with Centor top-rolling hardware, which enables smooth operation across large spaces. When open, the flush drainage sills create a continuous, accessible flow – inside and out – while protecting the owners from the elements when closed.

Further enhancing the sense of openness and space is the kitchen area’s pop-up ceiling, allowing natural light to flood living spaces.

The build includes several large, fixed windows, completed with Alspec’s McArthur Evo centre pocket framing. This robust framing provides excellent security and weathering properties.

Continuing the emphasis on views and sightlines, an Alspec Swan 45mm Commercial door was used for the main entrance.

Builder Aktive Building was extremely satisfied with the contribution of the Wellfix team, noting their high level of professionalism, timeliness and commitment to perfection. Leung Architects also had exact requirements that the Wellfix team was delighted not only to meet but also exceed.
