Nestled between the pristine shores of New South Wales' Central Coast and an abundance of native bushland, this beautiful home effortlessly blends classic charm with modern functionality.
Designed to accommodate a family of five, the house offers both spaciousness and a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. Its standout features are the stunning views over the ocean and seamless connections between the interior and exterior spaces.
To maximise the ocean vistas, the windows were extended, providing unobstructed views.
In the living spaces, oversized windows by Sublime Windows now frame the ocean views, allowing the sea breeze to permeate the home.
To combat the wearing effect of the salty sea breezes, the family opted for aluminium windows, doors and framing from Alspec, with a natural-looking DecoWood finish.
The aim was to strike a perfect balance between easy maintenance and style.
Additional windows were added to flood the kitchen with natural light, enhancing its ambience.
This coastal makeover is a testament to finding the right architectural solutions that align with the environment and cater to the needs of its inhabitants, without the burden of maintaining timber windows.
