Altro Flooring and Walling brought colour into the lives of young patients at the Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green, Essex.
Designed to provide the highest level of respite and palliative care to families and young people from birth to 19 years old living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, the hospice offers a range of play activities as well as day and overnight stays.
Recommended by Great Ormond Street Hospital, Altro met all the requirements of the Haven House interiors, which needed to be hard-wearing as well as functional, given the clinical nature of many of the spaces.

A visit to Altro’s offices at Letchworth proved to be inspiration for the design scheme at Haven House.
