ANC Bird Control was contracted by Qantas Melbourne to bird proof approximately 5,000m² of exposed walls to their main hangar with black, 19mm Diamond HDPE netting.
Feral exotic birds had been causing OH&S concerns for the workers also the bird waste affecting aircraft being prepared for servicing/painting.
The 19mm net secured all exposed purlins, plumbing, etc and where access to lights, etc was required black, heavy duty nylon zippers were installed.
