A series of seminars is being organised as part of the 2014 Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS 2014) event being held in Melbourne this May.
Registrations are now open for the ARBS 2014 seminar series, which will include keynote addresses by Paul Edwards, Group General Manager Sustainability at Mirvac Group and The Hon. Matthew Guy MLC, Victoria’s Minister for Planning.
Additional seminars at ARBS 2014 include a panel discussion on the adaptability of buildings for climate change, featuring Professor Sue Roaf of Heriott-Watt University in the UK, Karl Mallon of ClimateWorks, Paul Stoller of Atelier Ten and Dave Collins of Synergetics; a Building Information Modelling (BIM) panel discussing the use of BIM from client, contractor, constructor and asset management perspectives; and a ‘super panel’ discussing standards, legislation, new refrigerants and other topical issues in refrigeration.
Sessions will also be held on building tuning and control systems, Green Star – Performance in action, and energy performance contracts among many more.
The ARBS 2014 will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, South Wharf, Melbourne, Victoria, from Tuesday 20 May to Thursday 22 May 2014.
