For KFC’s drive-thru and restaurant fitouts at outlets across NSW and QLD, Arrow Metal delivered an off-menu perforated metal solution for exterior and interior applications. Working with the project contractors, we manufactured perforated metal panels to match each store, customising the panel size, shape, margins, and folding to suit the unique layouts.
Installed throughout the sites as exterior signage, entrances, and interiors, the panels were finished in ‘KFC red’ post-production – an easy way to boost branding through clever use of powdercoating.
Serving up KFC’s restaurant fitouts: Choosing the pattern
The top pattern takeaway for KFC’s restaurant fitouts was a simple and classic round-hole design popular for its versatility, and suited to decorative uses or high-performance strength and functional installations.
Featuring small holes in a staggered pitch with a 40% open area, the profile is available in a choice of metals including aluminium, stainless steel, and brass. Perforations were made into sheets of 3mm aluminium for KFC’s makeovers, creating durable and long-lasting on-brand decor from drive-thru entry to restaurant exit.
Perforated metal solutions for fast food, bars, and restaurant fitouts
Installed across many KFC sites in NSW and QLD including Baulkham Hills, Emerton, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Kempsey Bypass, Menai, Riverwood, South Penrith, and Newcastle, the KFC restaurant fitouts are a great example of how perforated metal can successfully promote brand visibility as part of hospitality fitout design.
