Artilux Australia has been providing screen solutions to window and door manufacturers for over 20 years. Its retractable screens roll out when needed and roll away when they’re not and are designed to fit any type of window or door, especially French doors and bi-fold doors.
The screens are custom-made to fit openings up to 6000mm x 3000m - easily wide enough to cover popular bi-fold doors. The screens can be designed for sun control or they can be used for insect control (flyscreens). The material is superior to standard screens and the frames, although available in two standard colours, can be powder coated to match existing doorwork.
Other features include: spring loaded or optional chain control; bottom tracks can be recessed into flooring if required; a double brush system on bottom tracks prevents blow out effect in wide openings and high wind areas and an optional temporary stop block available for bottom track allows users to stop the screen at a given point without retracting all the way back.
Screen options are: standard fly screen mesh in grey and charcoal, midgee/micro mesh, sun shade, block out and external fabrics.
