Sustainability was at the heart of the design of 161 Castlereagh Street, a well-planned commercial office building in Sydney.
Designed to a 6 Star Green Star rating, the building offers a modern, open plan, flexible workspace that encourages interaction and collaboration amongst employees.
The building design applies new technologies to deliver operational and environmental benefits, with sustainable materials being used throughout the fitout. The Ultrafix system from ASP Access Floors offered a sustainable, cost effective and functional solution for the 15,800m² office fitout.
Installed in 2014, ASP’s Ultrafix raised floor system, complete with its own certified environmental audit, ensured the building’s sustainability guidelines were met.
ASP’s steel cementitious Ultrafix access flooring system with a 3.0kN load rating at 150mm FFH was installed in the fitout.
