A home extension project completed in Glen Waverley by Attic Group was honoured at the 2019 MBA Excellence in Housing Awards in Victoria.
Attic Group won the prestigious Master Builders Association award in the Best Renovation/Addition under $300,000 category.
The Glen Waverley project involved the addition of two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a rumpus room by extending beyond the roof space of this family home.
Rumpus Room
The rumpus room is the main living area of the addition. The space is large enough for a good-sized living room plus storage. Windows flood the area with natural light, and create ventilation to keep the area cool in summer.

Project execution
Attic Group executed the project with minimal disruption to the owners who continued to live in the home. Most of the work was done through the roof.
