AUSTRALIAN Pump Industries has released the Aussie GMP B3XRA, a 3-inch cast iron self priming pump powered by a 10hp model L100E electric start Yanmar air cooled industrial diesel engine.
The pump has a maximum flow of 1350L/min, and, as it self primes, it will suck liquids from a depth of 6m below the pump level. It also features high pressure capability, and can pump up to 40m direct vertical lift, developing pressures in excess of 55m.
The impeller is an open vane type capable of passing small solids in suspension.
Australian Pump Industries believes that, with the range of pressure and flow combinations, the pump is ideal for construction or earthworks, water cart applications or for general high pressure water transfer. It can also be fitted with diesel compatible seals for use in the transfer of diesel fuel on mine sites or for remote community power supply systems.
