Home and building
Polystyrene is a very popular insulation material in residential construction. Polystyrene can be used as both floor and wall insulation as well as cladding. It is also well-known in underslab heating systems.
Australian Urethane & Styrene can also provide a foil faced board to give greater thermal properties to the insulation.
ISOBOARD (blue coloured extruded polystyrene) is also used in similar situations. ISOBOARD is particularly effective as part of a waterproofing system.
Truck bodies
Polystyrene and polyurethane are commonly used in the insulation of truck bodies for refrigerated trucks. The high thermal properties in conjunction with the mechanical strength of the products make either an ideal choice in this application.
Pipe lagging
