A minimalist decor, courtesy Axolotl Paint, is making a new bistro and beach club on Bondi Beach stand out from the crowd.
Bondi’s newest hospitality gem, the very chic Pacific Club Bondi Beach, is an all-day eatery located within Campbell Parade's Pacific Building, and boasting an enviable team of well-known hospitality industry luminaries to help bring it to life.
The Pacific Club Bondi Beach has Harvest Newrybar's Bret Cameron heading up the kitchen, award-winning sommelier Chris Morrison creating the expansive wine programme, and 2016 Australian Bartender of the Year Michael Chiem lending his talents to the cocktail menu.
Internationally renowned hospitality designer Michael McCann from Dreamtime Australia Design has designed the venue, which has an idyllic waterfront location.
“Our lifestyles call for dining that is an extension of the way we live. With the open planned kitchen as its centrepiece, the ‘home away from home’ environment has drawn on whitewashed palettes, warm wooden textures, and finished with the polish of marble,” says McCann of his vision.
The whitewashed palette running throughout the restaurant has been achieved using the Axolotl Paint range, with TimberWash Interior in Roan used on the walls and ceilings. The colour imbues a clean minimalist aesthetic that maximises the charm of the eatery’s beachside location.
