Barrier Security Products have released the Blade Runner one way access control unit. The Blade Runner one way access control unit replaces Barrier Security Products’ earlier one way access control unit, the Gator with new improved features.
The BRS1000 and BRS500 Blade Runner one way access control units consist of either a 1000mm (26kgs) or 500mm (13kgs) heavy-duty steel module and steel end caps. Each module has independent retracting teeth. When a vehicle approaches from the correct direction, the teeth retract allowing the vehicle to pass freely. When approached from an unauthorised direction, the teeth lock up denying access and risking tyre damage.
The BRS1000 and BRS500 Blade Runner one way access control units/spikes have the following features:
- High visibility
- Lime green powder coat finish
- Ultra low profile construction to ensure vehicle clearance
The BRS1000 and BRS500 Blade Runner one way access controls have been designed to provide a soft approach for vehicles due to their low ramp angle and reduced height. These same features also eliminate noise. Six fixing points per metre (four per 500mm module), heavy-steel construction, steel end caps and the new spring design ensures a long service life with low maintenance.
