Bildspec installed their Rw46-rated Konnect double glazed operable wall for InOne Projects at CPG’s prestigious Blues Point Road office at McMahons Point in Sydney.
This glass operable wall, which includes a full height pass door with lever handle for DDA compliance, helps preserve CPG’s spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge across the office floor. Installed between the boardroom and a breakout/kitchen space, the operable wall allows CPG the flexibility of creating large or small group meeting spaces when required. Konnect was chosen for its flexibility as well as ability to maximise natural light within the fitout.
Operable walls support a flexible work environment, allowing for either small, private spaces for work when needed, or larger spaces to collaborate and socialise with colleagues. One space can be turned into multiple, smaller spaces, whether it is turning a large open plan area into a series of meeting rooms, or sectioning off rest, eat or play areas away from the busy working environment.
Operable walls allow a limited transfer of sound from the external office into the smaller individual spaces.
