Bildspec recently installed their Konnect operable wall suite at the new office of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) in Parramatta, Sydney.
Headquartered in Brisbane, the NHVR was established in 2013 as a statutory authority to administer the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) that applies to all Australian states and territories except the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Working with the builder PMG, Bildspec installed four glass acoustic partition walls to separate a large meeting space into up to 4 separate meeting rooms depending on NHVR’s requirements.
Bildspec’s acoustic office partitions have been tested for their acoustic performance at CSIRO’s acoustic testing facilities in Clayton, Victoria. We can provide operable walls that are rated 45Rw, 47Rw, 49Rw, and 52Rw, in accordance with AS1191.
The office partition panels are 100mm thick and constructed with two outer skins of particle board or MDF board, separated by appropriate acoustic insulation contained in an extruded aluminium perimeter frame with interlocking vertical stiles.
Bildspec’s acoustic office partition walls come with a variety of surfaces including, but not limited to, vinyl laminates, wood veneers, plastic laminates, painted finishes, textile wallcoverings, pinboards, chalkboards, magnetic white boards and more.
