Perched on the banks of Edgars Creek in Coburg North, this house at 44 Spectrum Way is in symphony with the natural environment. Echoing its bushland context, the house designed by Breathe Architecture embodies a raw, earthy quality featuring a rammed earth wall and Ironbark cladding.
Divided into three pavilions for living, sleeping and bathing, each pavilion borders a central courtyard, which connects the house to the striking Ironbark trees and meandering creek.
Glazed sliding doors and large windows from BINQ blur the lines between the indoor and outdoor spaces, as the well-designed interiors flow seamlessly into the beautiful natural landscape outside.
