Bosch Blue has set new standards in size and performance with the launch of its three new generation 10.8 Volt power tools.

GUS 10.8 V-LI cordless universal shear

The new professional cordless universal shear from Bosch is the fastest for all professional applications. It is powerful and easy-to-use, with a no-load speed of 700 rpm designed to work fast and flexibly. The cordless shear cuts through materials such as PVC, carpet, leather, fabrics and cork because of its optimised 60mm polygonal blade.

It is so quick and powerful that it can cut up to 200 metres of 4mm-thick PVC with only one battery charge. The shear sits comfortably in the hand to minimise fatigue when working due to its extra-slim handle with soft grip coating and weight of only 1kg.

GWB 10.8 V-LI cordless angle drill/driver

The new cordless angle drill/driver is the compact solution for hard to reach places. Versatile is this drill’s middle name – it can reach all those spaces that conventional drills simply cannot get to. With a head length of 11cm and a long accelerator switch, the angle drill is easy to use in hard-to-reach places.

Weighing only 1.2kg and with a soft grip surface, it is comfortable in the hand. An integrated LED light illuminates the work area and the drill can even be used in power-demanding applications like steel and wood. Required drill bits can be changed easily with the 10mm Auto-Lock chuck.

GSB 10.8-2 LI cordless impact drill

This new cordless impact drill is exceptionally powerful thanks to a two-speed planetary gearbox. It has the shortest design (187mm) in its class for optimum handling, especially when performing drilling and screw driving applications overhead in tight spaces.

Weighing just 1kg, it is designed for smaller to medium screw driving, drilling and impact drilling. It is the perfect tool for having to alternate between drilling holes and driving screws in different materials. The required bits are quickly and easily changed with the auto-lock chuck and the motor brake ensures precision work when driving rows of screws – it stops as soon as the screw driving process is finished.

All three of these new products run on Bosch Premium lithium-ion batteries with “Electronic Cell Protection”, which protects the battery against overload, overheating and deep discharge. There is no memory effect, meaning the batteries are ready to use even when they have been sitting dormant for months. The battery is compatible with all Bosch professional tools in the voltage class and can be fully recharged in 30 minutes.
