Several Britex fixtures were specified for two new commercial kitchens designed and built for the Whittlesea Community Centre, VIC as part of their redevelopment works.
Designed by Contract Control Services and built by Whitefield McQueen Irwin Aslop, the $8 million redevelopment of the Whittlesea Community Centre included the addition of multiple commercial kitchens for communal use. The new community kitchens would serve as the headquarters for food preparation, service and storage.
Britex was engaged to consult in the design, fabrication and installation of two fully equipped commercial kitchens that took into consideration usage, space and storage solutions.
Britex fixtures supplied for the commercial kitchens included dishwasher inlet and outlet benches; fire rated stainless steel wall cladding; server benches; custom stainless steel frames (tuck shop); wet and dry benches; custom stainless steel bench; and tops with undershelves.
John Doolan from Britex served as the Project Manager for this installation.
