CASF Australia announces the judging panel for the 2023 Corian® Design Awards. With Edition 2 still open for submissions until October 30th, it's our pleasure to spotlight the exceptional individuals tasked with evaluating the innovative designs submitted this year.
Comprising of industry experts and visionaries, our panel brings together a unique blend of expertise, all united by their shared passion for ground-breaking design.

Karen Kunst - Founder & Director of KJK Interiors
Karen loves to create timeless design within the residential and commercial spaces alongside her team. KJK also contributes time to schools and secondary educational sectors for students to experience interior design for their work experience.
Gavin Hepper - Creative Director and Founder of Concepts by Gavin Hepper
Concepts by Gavin Hepper is an award-winning bespoke interior design studio specialising in kitchen and bathroom design. Gavin brings over 27 years of trade and design experience to his clientele and the industry. As an award-winning designer, Gavin considers giving back to the industry as imperative to support and mentor talent within the design community.
Liliana Ramirez - Principal at Cheesman Architects
Liliana has over 20 years of international experience gained in Mexico, USA, Europe and Australia. Her portfolio of work encompasses retail, residential, commercial, hospitality and specialist healthcare facilities. She leads the Interior Design team at Cheesman Architects.
Jennifer Addison - Senior Interior Designer with ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects
Jennifer’s broad experience spans healthcare, hospitality, education and seniors living and aged care projects. She is highly regarded for her design development expertise, deployment of best practice universal design, and unique design responses that enrich interior spaces. She is part of the team working to embed First Nations co-design and Country-centred design principles into ClarkeHopkinsClarke’s projects.
Kate McGee - Associate Director at State28
With a Diploma in Interior Design and a wealth of experience in the design and construction industry, Kate brings a unique perspective to her role. She keeps State28 at the forefront of innovation when it comes to specifying finishes, furniture, and other design products. In her diverse role, she enjoys working closely with the design team, fostering out-of-the-box thinking to bring their clients' design visions to life.
Miriam Terry - Director of State28
Miriam draws on her diverse background spanning oil and gas, to residential lifestyle to deliver tangible value to clients. A talent for curiosity sees her complete detailed client briefing sessions where she has the ability to engender trust and extract deep understanding of a client’s requirements.
Enter your design by October 30th for your chance to be one of the 2nd Edition finalists.
There are three categories: Residential, Commercial and Product Innovation. At the end of each edition (May and October), two winners will be announced from each category and shortlisted to go into the end-of-year pool of candidates, where an overall winner in each category will be selected.
The overall winner in each category will be chosen by our independent judging panel assembled by CASF, and announced in November 2023.
