The Corian® Design Awards 2020 for outstanding design invites submissions from Australian design professionals and students for the first edition of the prestigious awards program. Entries can be made in two categories: Residential and Commercial.
First held in 2006, the Corian® Design Awards has proven to be a successful platform in recognising local designers for their creative use of Corian® solid surface in their field of expertise. Each year, the competition is held over four stages with two winners selected from the entries (one each from Residential and Commercial categories) at the end of each quarter (March, June, September and December).
The two finalists from each edition will go into the end-of-year pool of candidates, with an overall winner selected from each category by an independent judging panel assembled by CASF. The overall winners will be announced in January 2021.
This year’s overall Major Prize winners will receive a Corian® Creation, designed by themselves. The prize is valued up to $5,000 and can be any Corian® design chosen by the winners to be made to their specification by CASF Australia. The overall winners will also receive additional editorial and global exposure via the DuPont™ Network.
Entries for the 1st Edition of the Corian® Design Awards 2020 will close on 31st March. In addition to architects, designers, specifiers and students, the competition is also open to partners such as shop fitters and Corian® Fabricators who may enter on behalf of the designer.
