Chatterton Lacework presents a new range of lacework designs unique to the Victorian period.
The new Discount Hardware range of lacework designs from Chatterton Lacework includes Westminster Lacework, Kensington Lacework and Small Clover Lacework. Dating back to the Victorian period of 1850-1880, the unique Australian products with their shallow designs are ideal for verandahs featuring a bull nose design. Many lacework designs are very deep and unsuitable for verandahs with a 1.9m – 2m clearance. The new lacework designs also fit perfectly underneath the clover key frieze.
Many balustrade designs are only found in very specific areas. For instance, some balustrade panels found in northern Queensland and parts of South Australia cannot be found anywhere else, unless they have been copied.
