Coates Hire won the 2012 ‘Rental Company of the Year’ award at the Hire and Rental Industry annual awards night held recently at the conclusion of the HRIA Convention & Exhibition on the Gold Coast.
The ‘Rental Company of the Year’ award represents the combined efforts of a well-rounded organisation and is adjudicated by the HRIA, the peak national industry body representing the hire and rental industry in Australia.
Key reasons for Coates Hire’s selection for the award included the strong investment made by the company in developing its people, the culture of safety built within the organisation, the ongoing commitment to significant hire fleet investment and the big lift in brand value and market presence.
According to CEO Leigh Ainsworth, the judges noted the four years of continuous improvement to all facets of Coates Hire’s business including the training and development of employees and the investment in new fleet. The continuous product, service and process management improvements have had a positive impact on the company’s relationship with its customers.
