COATES Hire is expanding its training and assessment services for the civil construction, local government, building and manufacturing industries.
Coates Training Services is the new name for the expanded service, which has been previously provided through Coates Shorco Sykes Training. The business registered with VETAB (the NSW Vocational, Education and Training Accreditation Board), and ANTA (the Australian National Training Authority), which means any accredited courses offered by Coates Training Services will be recognised by training authorities throughout Australia.
Two nationally accredited courses are currently available. These include Confined Space Entry training, and Shoring and Trenching. Other services include EWP Yellow Card training, Workcover Green Card training, Traffic Control training and EWP Licence assessments. New courses which will soon be available include courses for Erecting Scaffold and Compaction Roller Training.
The training and assessments will be provided under the guidance of experienced workplace assessors, with fully qualified and experienced trainers. The courses can be carried out in Coates Training Services facilities, or on site.
