The Dulux Colour App has been updated with an innovative digital tool that empowers homeowners to experiment with colour during renovations or revamps.
Deciding on the right colour for a room can be a daunting task. The new Dulux ColourView encourages homeowners to take a fearless approach to colour transformation at home by allowing them to easily visualise the impact of a chosen colour in a room on the walls, ceilings or furniture. The user can freely experiment with colour and see the transformation before even picking up a paintbrush.
All the user has to do is simply select the ColourView feature in the Dulux Colour App, take a photo of a room, or upload an existing one to the app, then select any Dulux colour to virtually paint a section of the image and see their ideas come to life.
Dulux Digital Marketing Manager, Jessica Green explains that the new Dulux ColourView feature gives consumers the confidence to be bold with their colour choices. Homeowners considering the idea of improving the look and feel of their home can use the tool to further simplify the painting process by virtually experimenting with colours and visualising the end result before even buying the paint product.

Key features of the Dulux Colour App include flexibility to experiment with more than 4,000 Dulux colours; easy-to-navigate functions; clever ‘Colour Capture’ function to easily find the closest Dulux colour match to any colour using the device’s camera; latest information and images showcasing popular colour trends from Dulux; and compatibility with iPhones, iPads and Android devices.
The new Dulux ColourView features on the free Dulux Colour App, and is also available to existing Dulux Colour App users as a free update, which can be downloaded by visiting the Dulux website.
