Ortech Industries supplied acoustic ceiling and wall systems for the Queensland Netball Centre (Nissan Arena) to meet several challenging design objectives.
Nissan Arena boasts a 5000-seat show court as well as changing rooms and sports medicine facilities for community and elite athletes. The venue also hosts the Suncorp Super Netball Team, the Queensland Firebirds.
Ortech Industries worked with Hansen Yuncken and the Queensland State Government to supply the acoustic ceiling and wall systems for the stadium, using Durra acoustic pattern panels. These panels provide impact resistance and internal sound absorption while mitigating traffic noise intrusion from the adjacent freeways.
Durra Panel has now been installed in 6 out of the 8 National Competition’s Home Stadiums, confirming the high acoustic performance and durability of Durra Panel and Ortech Building Systems.
