Poured limestone, available from Exquisite Limestone , is a product made from reconstituted limestone and not to be confused with coloured concrete. The final hand finished product has the texture of natural limestone with a choice of patterns to suit individual tastes.
No ants or weeds
Poured limestone has a number of advantages over other paving products. Unlike brick paving, weeds and ants have no chance of appearing. Poured limestone provides a solid body over the sand restricting weeds and ants from making their way through to the surface.
Cool in summer
Limestone has good cooling qualities and as poured limestone is produced from crushed limestone, it too has the same cooling qualities. Not only is it cool to walk on but it can also help to keep home cool.
Adaptable
Poured limestone can be used in almost any situation. It can be formed to any shape allowing it to adapt to any location. It is ideal around pools where it is cool on the feet and provides a lovely contrast to a blue pool. There are no problems with exclusively shaped pools or messy cuts as with other paving products.
Flexible
As poured limestone can be formed to any shape, it is ideal for paths. There are no restrictions with design. Straight, curved and anything in between is easily achieved and borders can be used to provide a contrasting finish.
Low maintenance
Patios and courtyards look attractive in poured limestone. Gaps like those found with normal paving are non existent meaning dirt cannot find its way to the surface. Less maintenance means time spent elsewhere.
