Create the ultimate fabric care ecosystem by combining Connected Home appliances that help you care better, care for longer and care in new ways.
The architecture of fabric care
Explore luxury laundry and wardrobe spaces, designed in partnership with Boffi that illustrate how our concept of the laundry has evolved into a connected, fabric care ecosystem.
Design freedom
The laundry is an increasingly important element of the home's environment. Where it is placed and how it is used is being considered in more thoughtful ways than it has in the past. This luxury walk-in wardrobe, designed using Boffi's Antibes system, shows that it can be a refined and considered space that is a more integral part of the architecture of the home.
A place for everything
In the wardrobe system, a Fabric Care cabinet, Steam Care washer and dryer – controlled by a single interface – and dispensing drawer form a balanced grid, anchoring space within a structural frame of elm. Bronze-aluminium door extrusions surround a transparent, smoky-grey glass selected for its aesthetic compatibility with the graphite appliance finish. Numerous shelves, drawers and leather-lined trays ensure a place for everything.
A tactile architecture
The beauty of this space is that you can see the laundry – often considered only in functional terms – reimagined as a very tactile piece of architecture. The timeless, modular Xila system, designed in 1972 by Luigi Massoni, has been resolved in elm, travertine and textured handmade tiles. The hardware-free storage, with negative space opening detail, emphasises the horizontality of the travertine worksurface, with a matching Steam Care washer and heat-pump dryer centrally positioned for functional access.
Soft and calm
The laundry's soft and calm ambience is a result of careful material choices that include warm ‘Dorado’ travertine, the golden flecks hinting at the origin of its name, and small, square ‘Cotti e argille’ tiles, a variation of terracotta expressed in a lighter colour, with all the variations and celebrated imperfections of a handmade product.
