of the new pocket-sized FLIR C2 thermal imagers in the Asia Pacific region.
An innovative range of full-featured professional thermal imaging
cameras for building professionals, the FLIR C2 combines a compact design with radiometric
imagery for fast troubleshooting and powerful reporting in the building industry.
Now available in APAC through FLIR partners, the FLIR C2 is the first
full-featured, pocket-sized thermal camera designed to help building
professionals see hidden heat patterns that can reveal sources of energy loss,
signs of structural defects, and plumbing issues.
The compact and sleek design of the C2 fits comfortably into any pocket,
making it one of the most convenient thermal cameras on the market for professionals
including builders, roofers, home and insurance inspectors, electricians, and
realtors who can keep the C2 handy and still carry other tools and equipment.
Key features of FLIR C2 professional thermal imaging cameras include brilliant,
simple-to-use touch screen with auto orientation; rugged casing for use in
tough environments; powered by FLIR’s patented Lepton micro thermal detector,
which captures and displays subtle thermal patterns and small temperature
differences using 4,800-pixels of resolution; wide angle fixed-focus lens ideal
for viewing and analysing large areas typically found in building inspections;
and built-in work light and flash illuminating poorly-lit areas.
FLIR’s patented MSX real-time image enhancement technology helps the C2
create thermal images with enhanced clarity and readability. By automatically
embossing edge detail captured by an onboard visible camera onto the thermal
image, MSX allows numbers, letters, textures, and other features to become
recognisable without compromising the thermal image.
FLIR C2 thermal camera offers quick point-and-shoot operation with radiometric
thermal and visible JPEG images stored instantly at the push of a button. The
images can later be downloaded with free FLIR Tools software that allows users
to adjust thermal image levels, isolate and add temperature measurements,
change colour palettes, and create compelling reports.

Instruments business segment comments that the C2 is now available to plumbers,
HVAC technicians, inspectors, roofers, contractors and other building
professionals in the APAC region, with the pocket-sized thermal imager giving
