The colour Mt Carrara, a bestseller from the Movement Series by Meganite, is one of the most realistic ‘marble look’ solid surfaces on the market. Featuring soft, free-flowing yet consistent veins on a white background, this solid surface colour is perfect for furniture and interior design.
Traditionally offered in a standard sheet size of 3660 x 760mm with 12mm thickness, the Mt Carrara colour is now available from ForestOne in three larger sheet sizes for even easier fabrication, allowing designers to create almost seamless ‘marble’ surfaces effortlessly.
The three new sizes are 3660 x 930 x 12mm, 3660 x 1220 x 12mm, and 3660 x 760 x 20mm.
The larger sized sheets allow you to create both wider and longer benches with minimal joins. While the standard 760mm wide sheet size is perfect for standard kitchen benches, it is too narrow for an island, oversized bench, or more custom designs. With a larger sheet size range available, designers will no longer be limited by size when conceptualising more extraordinary designs.
The pattern of the Mt Carrara range allows you to use fewer sheets when designing and shaping a bench without being too concerned about marble vein consistency. Although Meganite can be beautifully fabricated to have the most inconspicuous joins, the larger sheet size eliminates an extra layer of hassle and labour.
Additionally, with the thicker sheet size, beautiful statement benches can be created without thermoforming or extra joining. Create whatever edge best suits the design without worrying about pattern, cost or difficulty in fabrication.
