GH Commercial was engaged to deliver a great looking, hardwearing and comfortable flooring solution at Malvern Central, a popular shopping hub in Malvern, Victoria.
Featuring multiple speciality retailers, informal eateries and a David Jones store, Malvern Central is a busy village-style retail complex that attracts a loyal inner Melbourne customer base.
The brief for the shopping mall flooring refurbishment sought a solution that delivered on both function and form. Fusion, a standout carpet plank from our stunning {Choreography Collection} was the perfect choice. Fusion’s textured design in Jive, a practical dark neutral with contrast lineations, features a combination of the Sequence and Motion ranges, incorporating both vertical and horizontal lines to heighten the sense of overall space.
The carpet planks were installed by Systematic Carpets in a herringbone arrowhead pattern below an ornamental central ceiling panel of timber parquetry, with the right-angled configuration echoing the geometric decor influence for an aesthetic of timeless luxury.
Fusion carpet planks
Fusion carpet planks lend much more than an appealing aesthetic in a retail setting. Simple to install, they provide low maintenance flooring with excellent noise insulating properties, ideal for buffering the inherent clamour of a busy shopping environment. The distinctive pattern and textured loop pile of Fusion also serve to disguise any odd soiled patches, while single planks are easily removed and replaced if necessary.

Part of the Choreography Collection, the Australian made Fusion carpet planks are manufactured using our Designer Jet technology. This precision engineering system facilitates the tailoring of specific projects, with clients free to customise Fusion’s highlight colours from the Spectrum colour palette for a genuinely bespoke result.
