The Rydges Sydney Airport constructed in 2013 recently underwent a range of updates to their interiors to refresh their lavish spaces. Comprised of 318 rooms, the Rydges Sydney Airport hotel offers a range of comforts for both business and leisure travellers.
Located only 181 steps from the international terminal check-ins and within a 15-minute drive from the CBD of Sydney, Rydges Sydney Airport is perfectly located for busy travellers with self-check in 24/7. The hotel also houses three restaurant venues, The Ascot, Cloud 9, and Smithy’s Bar, providing guests a range of in-house food and beverage experiences. Accompanied by a gymnasium, library, and meeting and function rooms, the hotel contains a wide range of facilities to ensure the upmost comfort of their guests.
Relaxed but polished
The Rydges Sydney Airport is popular amongst business travellers, providing convenience of location, ultimate comfort, as well as 24-hour services. The design team had these business professionals top of mind when developing the interior design updates where design elements centred around a relaxed working vibe. Our Smart City carpet plank collection provided the perfect subtle design that was still polished to meet the high-end design of the hotel. These carpet tile products are inspired from intricate metropolitan areas making it ideal for this project due to its centrality to Sydney’s CBD.
Urban Model in colour 965 Waterfront is utilised within the guest rooms of the hotel, implementing a subtle pattern throughout with a soft texture to elevate a sense of comfort within these spaces. The shades of blue used throughout the planks provide a sense of relaxation but also focus for those guests needing to work on the go. Paired with Enviro Bac Plus® cushion backing, Urban Model further provides added comfort underfoot for weary travellers.
Urban Mobility in colour 965 Blue Line was used throughout the corridors, carrying the subtle blue patterns that can be seen in the various rooms with an added geometric accent line throughout to differentiate the spaces.
