Pendants and wall lights from Gineico Lighting were selected for the interiors of a new home in Perth, Western Australia to complement various raw finishes in a sophisticated way.
Wright Feldhusen Architects worked closely with Gineico Lighting to select feature lighting that suited the materials palette. Concrete is juxta-positioned with copper and hand beaten brass light fittings, and then layered with timber feature panel ceilings and hand-chipped feature stone walls.
The Skyfall pendant from Antonangeli offsets the timber clad ceiling in the open plan kitchen and is also featured as a standing lamp in the lounge room. The Penombra pendant light in copper and black contrasts beautifully with the concrete, both raw materials complementing each other with integrity.
The compact, yet powerful Manine wall light stands out against the feature stone wall in the Grand Room, holding its own against the rock texture wall adjacent to the fireplace. The iCementi suspension pendant appears to float above the luxury sized bath tub.
