Grimwood Heating has purchased Klein Electrical Manufacturing and KEM Duct Heaters businesses effective 1 December 2007.
The integration of air handling product manufacturing and control engineering within the Grimwood Heating business expands Grimwood’s market offering with complementary products for existing and new customers in the mechanical services industry.
Klein Electrical Manufacturing and KEM Duct Heaters have been successfully run by Barry Klein for eleven years, and Barry now joins the Grimwood team as Sales Manager – Air Handling Products.
Grimwood Heating is one of Australia’s premier manufacturers of quality electrical heating elements and also distributes a range of associated accessories and control products. Grimwood Heating commenced operations in September 2003 following a management buyout of the previous Electrolux element and Tube business.
The Grimwood brand has been at the forefront of the electrical heating industry in Australia since 1947 when Grimwood Electrical Products (GEP) was established. GEP was purchased by Email Limited in the 1970’s and continued trading as Email-Grimwood until the Electrolux acquisition in 2001.
