CSR Gyprock has launched EC08 Extreme, a premium, multifunctional plasterboard, which has been engineered for extreme impact.
Well known for delivering superior products and systems to meet Australia’s ever-changing construction needs, Gyprock has now introduced the EC08 Extreme, which is reinforced with materials that provide increased durability including a dense fibre-reinforced core, fibreglass mesh and a thick face paper. The new 13mm board achieves very high levels of resistance to soft and hard body impact and surface indentation, and has been tested and proven to deliver exceptional results across these three key areas.
Meeting the highest standards across a range of performance requirements, further functional benefits of the high impact resistant board include fire and acoustics performance as well as mould and moisture resistance making it ideal for specialised construction including hospitals, mental health facilities, correctional facilities, sporting facilities, schools, shopping centres and any place where multifunction performance and impact resistance are imperative.

Made in Australia and Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) Certified, the low VOC board is manufactured with a high level of recycled content making it ideal for commercial green building projects. It contains a recessed edge for regular joining and is available in both 3000mm and 3600mm lengths.
