Sync by Hickory Group was contracted to supply 594 bathroom pods for developer Iglu’s purpose built student accommodation in Melbourne. Located opposite Melbourne’s iconic Queen Victoria Market, within walking distance to a number of major universities, Iglu Franklin is Melbourne’s newest student accommodation project.

The Bates Smart-designed project is being built by Hacer Group for Iglu and includes two towers of 9 and 23 storeys respectively. The two buildings will offer 594 beds as well as interconnected study and social areas.

Sync has been engaged to provide 594 bathroom pods for this project spanning six different typologies. To be manufactured offsite, the bathrooms will be delivered pre-fitted and finished with all plumbing, lighting, joinery, wall and floor coverings, ready for integration into the build.

Iglu Franklin is the developer’s first foray into Melbourne’s student accommodation sector and is due for completion in mid-2018.
