Hideaway Bins has launched a new range of laundry hampers designed for installation under laundry chutes to catch dirty linen and clothes from the upper floors of the home.
Recently introduced to the market, Hideaway Bins’ new base mount laundry hampers offer a practical solution in modern home designs that are typically built upwards to address land space constraints. Dirty laundry from the upper floors can be simply tossed into the chute to be collected and stored discreetly by the hamper underneath.
The hamper is held in place by the strong and sturdy, yet stylish base mount tray made from zinc treated steel, which also conceals the German Soft Close runners when the unit is open. The hamper is locked into place using a handle support attached to the door fascia, preventing it from tipping over when pulled open, should there be a backlog of washing above. Any clothing item that should accidentally fall into the base of the cabinet is protected against damage as all the runners and moving parts are covered, and all metal edges are smooth.
Key features of the laundry hampers include lightweight design with 60-litre capacity; ergonomic design lifting easily at waist height from the base mount tray without requiring the user to bend or lift the hamper high to remove it from the frame; high grade polypropylene plastic construction with smooth insides for clothing protection; air venting provided for moisture reduction; solid base protecting the internal cabinet from drips; and moulded handles assisting the user in moving the hamper.
The new hampers from Hideaway Bins can be installed into any area of the home to suit laundry chute requirements; the hamper can also be used as a standalone bin in the laundry room without the chute.
