HVG Facades announces the release of their latest range of high-quality engineered aluminium facade panels in the market.
Nucleo® is a lightweight and ultra-flat exterior panel that’s ideally suited to most building designs and constructions. With no polymer in its core, the panel is deemed-to-satisfy non-combustible as per the National Construction Code (NCC 2022). It achieves zero for ignitability and spread of fire, when tested to both AS1530.1 and AS1530.3. This excellent non-combustibility status not only provides extra peace of mind, but also helps shorten and streamline the building approval process.

Nucleo panels are made up of an internal profiled aluminium board, bonded on either side to two skins of marine grade aluminium sheeting. The fabricated exterior combined with the core technology results in a rigid panel that’s perfectly flat, providing a high-end finish. Slender and lightweight, Nucleo allows for more efficient handling and installation while also reducing overall construction costs.
Individual flat sheets of Nucleo can be fabricated with ease using CNC routers or wall saws to produce the dimensions required of each cassette, meaning even the most complex constructions can be brought to life. And, thanks to the three-dimensional core structure’s light weight, fabrication is fast.
Nucleo is also available in a range of standard colours. Each Nucleo panel offers excellent UV stability and colour retention as its outer layers are coil-coated in a superior PVDF architectural paint finish. In addition, Nucleo is corrosion resistant, making it an ideal choice for all locations and conditions.
