Ceiling and soffit solutions from Innowood were selected by the architects to fit the natural theme at Victor Apartments. With the design of the apartments focussed strongly on quality, design and sophisticated modern living, the architects sought to create an iconic theme for their multi-faceted gateway site.
By using INNOCLAD and INNOCEIL systems, the architects were able to successfully match natural palettes of wood colour and textures to fit the natural theme and lighting of the building. The natural timber look of the ceilings and soffits has enhanced the interior and the exterior of the apartments, including balconies and internal corridors.
Both the composite timber cladding and ceiling lining systems were quickly and efficiently installed at Victor Apartments. Compared to the time-consuming installation of traditional cladding, these systems allowed faster installation, thanks to the V-joint shiplap interlocking tongue and groove fixings. Further, the V-joint ceilings and soffits interlock the panels, concealing the grooves to provide a clean professional appearance.
The characteristics and features of Innowood products can be considered the closest composite to natural timber. Both INNOCLAD and INNOCEIL are easy to clean and require very low maintenance.
The timber look of Innowood’s soffit and ceiling solutions combined with their performance features has clearly met the requirements of the architects while adding value to this iconic project.
