Living near a forest has its attractions, such as the beautiful views, serene atmosphere, traffic-free paths to enjoy daily walks, and colourful native birds for company.
For the residents of this home located on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Buderim, Queensland, life was largely an enjoyable experience except for unwelcome visitors such as pesky insects and reptiles that created a major challenge when it came to enjoying their outdoor decks and verandahs.
The family found a permanent solution in Invisi-Gard security screens, which now enclose their large patio area to create a pest-free outdoor living space. For the Buderim home, the patio enclosure included two Invisi-Gard French security screen doors, creating a new secure access point for the home from the screened patio. The French screen doors come with a triple locking system and double flush bolt as standard inclusions, ensuring the home’s occupants will be safe and protected at all times.
The Invisi-Gard mesh used in the French doors as well as the screens is made from 316 marine grade stainless steel. The mesh surface is strong and flat, giving the screens exceptionally high visibility. Tested to meet and exceed Australian Standards, the security screens are proven to repel attack from impact or sharp objects, providing protection from intruders of all shapes and sizes. The screens also feature a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) rating of BAL40, making them a useful asset in bushfire-prone regions.
