Epworth Healthcare’s existing system was unable to keep pace with doctors and specialists constantly changing from one location to another. Manual updating of the static printed directory board was becoming unmanageable for the staff while the use of incorrect fonts by sign writers when manually updating name plaques created a different kind of problem.
JDS utilised the cloud based DigitalDirectoryBoards.com software platform to equip staff with the capability to update the eight directory boards using a few clicks of a mouse and keyboard.
Since all the details on the digital directory boards are listed alphabetically, visitors are also finding it easier to locate the correct doctor, specialist or department.
