Kaolin Porcelain Surfaces, in collaboration with internationally acclaimed designer Greg Natale, announces that the Dimora Collection, which is crafted from a Global GreenTag certified sustainable product, has been awarded the prestigious Australian Good Design Award in the Product Design - Hardware and Building category.

This accolade recognises the Dimora Collection as a standout achievement in porcelain tile design, further cementing Kaolin's reputation as an industry leader in combining luxurious aesthetics with sustainable innovation.

A testament to design excellence

The Dimora Series, launched earlier this year, represents the union of Kaolin's commitment to craftsmanship and Greg Natale's visionary design. The collection, which consists of the Villa, Grotta, and Casa ranges, blends modern luxury with artistic expression, bringing together the boldness of contemporary Australian design with the timeless appeal of Italian craftsmanship.

Jury commendation: Pushing design boundaries

The Jury praised the Kaolin x Greg Natale Dimora Collection, commenting: “The Jury was impressed by the innovative integration of materials and finishes, which elevate the luxury and opulence of the tiles. By combining geometric patterns with natural textures and leveraging the durability of porcelain, these surfaces demonstrate remarkable versatility, suitable for various installations and even furniture.”

The evaluation process focused on three core criteria: Good Design, Design Innovation, and Design Impact, ensuring that each winner demonstrated outstanding design quality and effectiveness.

Sustainability at the core

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the Dimora Collection emphasises sustainability. As one of the few GreenTag certified porcelain tiles manufacturers globally, Kaolin ensures that each tile is produced with environmental responsibility in mind, adhering to the highest standards of eco-friendly manufacturing. The collection reflects Kaolin's commitment to reducing its environmental footprint, sourcing materials locally, and utilising cutting-edge recycling techniques.
