Sayfa Group had featured stunning footage of a free climb up the world's tallest radio tower last year on their website. The video led to some discussion on the legality of the climb as the climbers did not use any form of height safety equipment.
Since this incident, Safety One Training has produced a video that shows a completely different and safer way to climb a 518-metre tall tower. Safety One Training’s staff have maintained a much higher standard of safety at all times during the climb.
However, the question remains if these height safety measures are sufficient enough to ensure their workers are fully protected.
