Kennards Hire Test & Measure has added a new ultrasonic leak
detector to its specialist product range.
The new AquaTest T10 ultrasonic leak detector uses ultrasonic wave
technology to hear the air pressure or fluid leak in water pipe networks
outdoors and inside buildings. Using a highly sensitive probe tip on the test
rod, the leak detector is able to locate and electronically amplify the natural
vibrations of the object being examined. The AquaTest T10 has the capability to
detect vibrations underground, behind walls or through ceilings.

Brisbane explains that the AquaTest T10 ultrasonic leak detector features a
robust construction, making it ideally suited for use by maintenance crews and
engineers in the plumbing, council, utilities, water management, and
commercial, infrastructure and residential construction industries.
The noises detected by the AquaTest T10 ultrasonic leak detectors are
shown on an automatic illuminated display incorporated in the handle, eliminating
the need for a separate receiver. The display shows current and previous
minimum noise levels, as well as the current noise intensity. Minimum noise
levels are shown as numeric values while actual noise intensity is displayed as
a bar graph.
The test rod provided in the ultrasonic leak detector from Kennards Hire
Test & Measure features an ergonomic design to enable extended operation
without strain for the user.
