Kennards Hire Test & Measure has introduced a new range of fusion splicers to its specialised equipment range.
High speed optic fibre cabling is increasingly being utilised across businesses and residential homes for data transfer and internet access. The new Fujikura 70S is a leading core alignment fusion splicer specifically designed for ergonomic performance and user-friendly operation with a 14-second heat time. With its ability to reduce splicing time to just seven seconds, the new device is the world’s fastest fusion splicer.
The 70S is the latest addition to an extended line of new products available through Kennards Hire Test & Measure. Designed as a practical ARC fusion splicer, the Fujikura 70S will help engineers and site managers streamline the installation of optic fibre network infrastructure.
Key features of the Fujikura 70S fusion splicers include a fully automated wind protector and a tube heater, developed for quicker splicing cycles and to reduce the number of operational steps; extended electrode performance with 3000 splices per set; high-resolution LCD monitor; powerful Li-ion battery for extended operational time; and built-in videos for additional on-site training.
The new Fujikura 70S available from Kennards Hire Test & Measure features a rugged construction that makes it suitable for all project sites. The design has been drop tested, adding improved reliability through shock, rain and dust resistance.
A redesigned carry case for the Fujikura 70S doubles as a table for faster preparation when splicing on-the-go and also features a fibre holder as well as fuse connect compatibility.
