Kennovations Product Design and Engineering has changed ownership with
former owner Rory Kennard giving way to Tim Phillips after 14 years.
Tim Phillips, who previously managed the operations of Kennovations as
General Manager will now steer the company as the new Director.
The Sydney based Kennovations has been providing product design and
development solutions to the construction, industrial, consumer and technology
markets since 2000 with a highly skilled design team. In 2012, the company
diversified into the architectural market, extending their service portfolio to
include Skymech operable roof systems for high end residential and commercial
projects.
Kennovations has also since added public artwork design and construction
to the mix, allowing the company to achieve substantial growth over the last
few years.
Kennovations’ latest speciality is the development of architectural
heliostats with the integrated heliostat and lighting system at One Central
Park, their highest profile project to date. Kennovations’ expertise in
engineering heliostats has led to the execution of several projects.
Tim has a strong background in industrial design and continues a long
term commitment to design teaching as a casual academic at the University of
Technology Sydney. He is a member of the Design Institute Australia providing
consultancy to the wider industry, particularly in sustainable and environmental
design.
Tim stated that Kennovations will focus on delivering innovative
solutions to the architectural and construction market, and opening up
opportunities for developers and architects to differentiate their designs with
unique mechanical and aesthetic features specifically tailored to their needs.
