For over 40 years, Australian owned and operated Keystone Linings has earned a reputation for excellence in designing and delivering innovative finishes and substrates, providing solutions that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

With greater need for Group 1 fire-rated products, our industry is increasingly moving to products that tick the all-important safety boxes, without sacrificing style. It is here that Keystone’s experience really shines through, being specialists in highly functional perforated and slotted wall panels and ceiling acoustic tiles that can help achieve BCA’s Group 1 fire-rating certifications.

The strength and versatility of their Key-Endura slotted and perforated fibre cement decorative panels make them an excellent choice across a wide range of internal and external applications. Available in multiple thicknesses, panels can be supplied Recessed or Square Edged in raw, painted and printed options, with outstanding durability and easy installation, making them a fantastic solution for ceilings, walls and soffits.

Keystone Linings skilled staff and machining capabilities also make customisation a dream, and when combined with Keystone’s K100 Group 1 fire rated acoustic backing, sound performance is second to none. It doesn’t end there either. With an innovative range of digital printing solutions also available, Keystone can also deliver the realistic look and feel of various woodgrains and timber products (and just about anything else) while maintaining a non-combustible product.

A string of major projects such as Forbes St Sydney, QT Hotel and Crown Metropol Melbourne have recently showcased the range of possibilities with Key-Endura.

The new health administration area at Modbury Hospital in Adelaide’s north-east is another key example. Working with designer/architects GHD Woodhead and Silver Thomas Hanley, 9mm panels were used for these drop-in ceiling tiles, which were cut back to a nominal 1200 x 600 (to drop into the grid), then perforated with 100mm Centres and 50mm diameter holes to achieve optimal acoustics. Panels were then finished with a Cool white 2-pac paint and backed with Keystone’s Group 1 fire rated K100 Scrim Backing to maintain the products overall required Group 1 fire rating.

At Grange Surf Life Saving Club, Key-Endura fibre cement soffit linings were again incorporated on the exterior in this urban seafront development, spearheaded by GHD Woodhead. Situated on the foreshore between residences, the space required a high level of acoustic performance, which was achieved using slotted 9mm acoustic ceiling panels for the outdoor entertaining/viewing area.

At Homestart Finance, Key-Endura custom perforated ceiling panels were again chosen for their durability, ease of install and minimal ongoing maintenance in this major inner-city office fit-out designed by MPH Architects. Installed by Premier Linings, the panels are a striking centrepiece in the overall design, creating an aesthetically modern, yet highly functional office space that sees hundreds of staff use the space daily.
