Kilargo announces that their Intumescent Fire Dampers (IFDs) are now
available in Revit format for use in BIM projects. Kilargo launched its latest
initiative at the 2015 HVAC&R Trade Exhibition & Industry Conference
held recently in Christchurch.
Kilargo’s Revit Selection Tool was developed in collaboration with
specialists A2K Technologies. Specifiers and Kilargo customers can now deliver
BIM and realise the benefits through Kilargo’s innovative Revit Selection Tool.
Users have to simply enter application criteria such as penetration
type, fire resistance level and building element; select from a filtered list
of Kilargo IFDs that suit the requirement; and download the Revit models. The
selected models will also automatically size and orient to suit duct or
penetration dimension and orientation.
The Revit content is available for Autodesk Revit
MEP 2014 and 2015.
