The Kooltherm K17 from Kingspan Insulation is a high performance, environment-friendly insulated plasterboard with three-in-one benefits.
Kingspan’s Kooltherm K17 insulated plasterboard combines insulation, dry-lining and vapour control in a single product. Manufactured without the use of CFCs/HCFCs, Kooltherm K17 also has zero Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
Made in Australia, Kooltherm K17 features a fibre-free rigid thermoset phenolic insulation core, sandwiched between a front facing of tapered edge gypsum based plasterboard, and a reverse tissue based facing autohesively bonded to the insulation core during manufacture. The plasterboard delivers outstanding R2.0 continuous insulation output at only 50mm thickness for walls and ceilings.
Kingspan Kooltherm K17 insulated plasterboard is CodeMark-certified for BCA compliance, and has Group 1 BCA fire classification.
