Jayson Pate Design combined a monochromatic colour palette with White Ash timber look battens from Knotwood to achieve the client’s brief for clean visual detailing at a two-storeyed home in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast.
Located on one of the best streets in Burleigh, within the tightly held and highly coveted ‘golden triangle’, the home features a modern coastal design. The client sought a free-flowing, highly functional home for a family of five.
White tones dominate the colour palette, mimicking the textures found in the coastal environment. Knotwood’s aluminium timber look battens in White Ash were chosen for their ease of use and minimal maintenance.
The clean linear lines used on the front facade seamlessly conceal the garage door, lengthening the facade for a continuous look. On the second elevation, a screen of vertical White Ash lines adds textural interest while providing both sun protection and privacy.
